He detailed Kosmos Energy’s investment strategy in Africa, highlighting the importance of robust natural resource management, commercially viable projects, and a shared commitment to social and economic progress.
Mike underscored the role of local capacity building in sustainable development, sharing examples of Kosmos Energy’s initiatives including entrepreneurship training programs in Ghana and Senegal. He also argued that Africa’s low-carbon natural gas is a key contributor to the global energy mix – as well as a vital resource for ending energy poverty and accelerating industrialization across the continent.
