Paul Tooms
Senior Vice President, Technical Functions
Paul Tooms joined Kosmos Energy in 2017. He was formerly Head of Engineering at BP E&P, where he was recognized for his many problem solving accomplishments. He has worked and lived in many different countries and spent the first part of his 38-year career drilling oil and gas wells. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Imperial College, London, and is also Chairman of The Welding Institute Council.
